MacBook Air Still Reigning Favorite of Apple Laptops

MacBook Air 13-Inch

Even though Apple’s MacBook Pro with Retina Display grabbed the attention of everyone, the MacBook Air still stands strong in the computer landscape. The new and improved version was launched recently and features a unique blend of size, design and performance, which proves to be an improvement on this thin Ultrabook.

Being the best example of an Ultrabook, the MacBook Air looks the same as the previous model and features a similar build. The new additions include a third generation Intel Core i5 processor, a high def 720p Webcam, USB 3.0 ports and a MagSafe 2 altered charge cable and connector. Even though this new Air doesn’t have Mountain Lion installed, Apple provides a free upgrade for all the released models.

MacBook Air is more affordable, shows excellent performance, and comes with 4GB DDR3 memory and a 128 GB hard drive. It also includes Intel HD 4000 graphics and it remains the most recommended MacBook of all time. Priced at $1199, the new and improved version of the MacBook Air weighs about 2.98 pounds and runs on the OS X Lion 10.7.4 operating system.

The laptop’s uni-body comes in an all-aluminum design and has a rock-solid wedge shaped build. All these features set the trend for newer Ultrabooks of other brands to be released. Being the thinnest laptops around, the Air also has a screen bezel that is larger than the norm for high-end Ultrabooks. It has a comfortably wide keyboard, with slightly shallow keys.

The MacBook Air includes a new HD Webcam that has a resolution of up to 720p, which is almost as good as the Webcam quality of other Macs. If you are looking for similar 13-inch screen laptops to rent, contact us to learn about our various available models.
